The market is, according to many, that automatic - almost natural - mechanism operated by an 'invisible hand' that leads spontaneously to growth and collective well-being. But is this true? Or, rather, is the market a social construct requiring rules and guidance? A counter current analysis of the concept of freedom, which rediscovers the market as a meeting place between society and economics.
